The main theme of Turkish March consists of repetitions of the same pattern in different hand positions.

Tips to Play:

  1. When you shift hand positions, be sure not to hit any extra notes. You can practice by looking at your hands when you first begin to play. Once you get the hang of shifting between positions, you should focus on the music when playing.

Remember:

4-3-2-3-5

 Remember that the finger positions of the repeated pattern is 4-3-2-3-5. When the 5 is missing, jump straight from one cluster of 4-3-2-3 to another cluster of 4-3-2-3 without stopping.
